Overview of Our ODM Capabilities

Our ODM capability covers the full development sequence — from concept and engineering through prototyping, manufacturing, surface treatment, and assembly. Whether you start with a sketch, a reference sample, or a functional requirement, we take it from there and deliver production-ready parts without you needing to change suppliers at any stage.

ODM Cooperation Model & Development Process

Our ODM collaboration process centers on efficient coordination and standardized execution; throughout this process, you retain full design leadership—we are responsible for ensuring product manufacturability, while the design rights remain entirely yours.

Requirement Intake

Provide a concept, sketch, reference sample, or functional spec — no 3D drawing required. We respond within 24 hours with a preliminary assessment and clarifying questions.

Engineering & DFM

Our engineers develop 2D/3D drawings from your input. DFM review identifies features affecting cost, machinability, or tolerance. Changes flagged and discussed before anything is finalized.

Drawing Approval

You review and approve the drawing before any prototype work begins. Revision cycles included — we iterate until the geometry matches your requirement.

Prototype Manufacture

CNC-machined prototypes from the approved drawing. Typical lead time 5–10 working days. FAI report issued with the prototype shipment.

Prototype Review & Iteration

You test against your functional requirements. If changes are needed, we revise and re-prototype. Most ODM projects require 1–2 prototype rounds.

Production Sign-Off

Prototype approved → production drawing locked → process parameters confirmed. No batch starts without your sign-off.

Batch Production

Full production with in-process sampling at defined intervals. Material certs, in-process records, and dimension checks throughout.

Surface Finishing

Specified finish applied post-machining. Critical dimensions re-checked after treatment where coating thickness affects fit.

Final Inspection & Delivery

Full CMM inspection, dimensional report, and material cert issued with every batch. Shipped via DHL/FedEx/freight per your terms.

Our Production Environment

ODM projects require manufacturing flexibility — the ability to prototype fast, iterate, and then scale to production without re-qualifying a new supplier.

All of the following run under one roof:

100+ CNC machining centers — 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling and turning; prototypes and production on the same equipment

Forging presses from 300T to 4,000T — for ODM parts where forged blanks are cost-optimal at volume

Casting and injection molding lines — for ODM parts transitioning from machined prototypes to cast or molded production

Dedicated assembly and inspection area — CMM inspection and functional assembly in-house; no subcontracting on quality-critical steps

The practical benefit: your ODM prototype is made on the same machines as your production run. No tool transfer, no re-qualification, no tolerance variation from a facility change at scale.

Tolerance & Quality Control

We have established a comprehensive quality management system, with an experienced team ensuring product precision and consistency throughout the entire process.

Our quality procedures include: IQC (Incoming Quality Control) → FAI (First Article Inspection) → In-process sampling inspection → OQC (Outgoing Quality Control). Each step adheres to strict standards, guaranteeing stable processes and consistent dimensions.

Equipped with CMMs, projectors, calipers, hardness testers, and other inspection tools, we provide CMM reports, dimensional reports, and full inspection records, maintaining tolerances within ±0.005–0.01 mm.

We support customized acceptance criteria and inspection plans tailored to client requirements, ensuring full traceability and reliable quality assurance from design to delivery.

Why Choose Keywin for ODM

  • Engineering Capability, Not Just Machining
  • Prototype on the Same Machine as Production
  • Design Control Stays With You
  • No MOQ
  • One Supplier from Concept to Production

Engineering Capability, Not Just Machining

Most machine shops execute drawings. Our ODM service starts before the drawing exists — in-house engineers handle geometry development, DFM review, and tolerance analysis. You get a manufacturable design, not just a machined part that's difficult to produce consistently.

Prototype on the Same Machine as Production

ODM prototypes and production batches run on the same 100+ CNC machining centers. No tool transfer, no re-qualification, no dimensional variation from a facility change at scale. What you approve at prototype is what ships at production.

Design Control Stays With You

Every drawing revision requires your approval before the next step begins. We take responsibility for manufacturability — you retain full ownership of the product design and IP. NDA signed before any engineering discussion begins, if preferred.

No MOQ

Single prototypes and high-volume production run on the same equipment with the same quality system. ODM prototype lead time is typically 5–10 working days for machined parts. No minimum order required at any stage.

One Supplier from Concept to Production

Engineering, prototyping, tooling, machining, surface treatment, assembly, and packaging — all in-house. One project manager from sketch to delivered batch. No vendor coordination overhead on your side.
