Process Principle + Advantages

Welding joins metal parts by melting and fusing material at the joint, while assembly combines welded and fastened components into a finished structure. Depending on material thickness and finish requirements, TIG or MIG welding can be applied to efficiently join everything from thin cosmetic panels to thick structural frames, offering strong, consistent joints and controlled heat input. We support both TIG and MIG welding to meet the fabrication demands of precision enclosures and heavy structural assemblies.

Tolerance and Quality Control

Welding introduces localized heat that can distort thin sheet metal, so we control every stage — from fixturing to post-weld inspection — to keep parts within dimensional and cosmetic requirements.

Our QC workflow follows: Incoming Material Inspection → First Article Inspection (FAI) → In-Process Sampling → Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), with fixtured jigs holding part alignment throughout the welding process.

Weld quality is verified through visual inspection, and dye penetrant or leak testing where required, confirming full penetration and cosmetic acceptance criteria are met. Post-weld straightening and grinding keep dimensions within ±0.2–0.3 mm on critical features.

We support customized acceptance criteria, including weld inspection standards and material certification, for projects with specific compliance requirements.
