CNC Bending Process and Advantages

CNC bending is a forming process that uses a punch and die to deform sheet metal along a straight line, producing precise angles without removing material. Depending on part complexity, single-bend or multi-bend forming can be applied to efficiently process everything from simple brackets to fully enclosed chassis, offering high repeatability, tight angle control, and fast cycle times. We support both standard V-bending and multi-axis CNC bending to meet the fabrication demands of complex, multi-bend sheet metal parts.

Our quality procedures include: Incoming Material Inspection → First Article Inspection (FAI) → In-Process Sampling → Outgoing Quality Control (OQC). Each step adheres to strict standards, guaranteeing stable processes and consistent dimensions.

Equipped with CMMs, height gauges, and bend angle testers, we verify critical dimensions and bend angles and provide detailed inspection reports upon request. Dimensional tolerances of ±0.05 to ±0.1 mm can be achieved for suitable features, depending on the drawing requirements, material, thickness, bend length, and part geometry. Project-specific tolerances can be evaluated for critical dimensions.

We support customized acceptance criteria and inspection plans tailored to client requirements, ensuring full traceability and reliable quality assurance from design to delivery.
