CNC Bending Process and Advantages
CNC bending is a forming process that uses a punch and die to deform sheet metal along a straight line, producing precise angles without removing material. Depending on part complexity, single-bend or multi-bend forming can be applied to efficiently process everything from simple brackets to fully enclosed chassis, offering high repeatability, tight angle control, and fast cycle times. We support both standard V-bending and multi-axis CNC bending to meet the fabrication demands of complex, multi-bend sheet metal parts.

Standard V-Bending
The punch presses the sheet into a V-die to form a single straight bend, representing the most fundamental bending method.
Suitable for simple brackets, angles, and flat panel folds.
Maintains bend angle tolerances within ±0.5° cost-effectively.

Multi-Axis CNC Bending
In addition to standard V-bending, servo-controlled backgauges and automatic tool changes form multiple bends in sequence.
Suitable for multi-bend enclosures and parts with complex bend sequencing.
Bend angle tolerances as tight as ±0.3° are available, depending on the material, thickness, and part geometry.
