Process Principle & Advantages

Injection molding is a manufacturing process that injects molten plastic into a mold cavity under pressure, where it cools and solidifies into the final part shape. Depending on part requirements, standard single-material molding or insert/overmolding can be applied to efficiently produce everything from simple enclosures to multi-material assemblies, offering high repeatability, tight dimensional control, and fast cycle times. We support both standard injection molding and insert/overmolding to meet the production demands of complex, multi-material plastic parts.

Tolerance & Quality Control

Plastic parts shrink as they cool, so holding tight tolerances starts with mold design — gate placement, cooling balance, and shrinkage compensation are all built in before the first sample is molded.

Our QC workflow follows: Incoming Material Inspection → First Article Inspection (T1 Sampling) → In-Process Sampling → Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), with T1 samples serving as the dimensional and cosmetic baseline for the full production run.

Equipped with CMMs, projectors, and material shrinkage data for each resin, we hold tolerances within ±0.05–0.1 mm on critical dimensions, with full dimensional reports available on request.

We support customized acceptance criteria — including cosmetic standards, weld line limits, and material certification — for projects with specific compliance requirements.
